It's been really hot the past couple of days so today we went to Shefer to swim in the river. Shefer is opposite Amirim and we used to come here to swim before we had our children.
All the water in Israel comes from the Hamon mountains and flows down to the Kineret. In Shefer they block the water from flowing until the pool at the top is full and then they let it all flow down at once so it has enough momentum to reach the Kineret and preventing it from seeping into the earth and being lost.....
